A historical survey of the African Neo-Pentecostals’ response to digital transformation

The ongoing digital transformation (DT) in our world has not only brought change to secular systems but also how things are done the mission and ministry of Christian faith. Although before coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, some churches were interacting with DT, post COVID-19 experience shown that many more organisations, especially, African Neo-Pentecostal Churches (ANPC), have carved their niche space. With South Africa Nigeria view, this article investigated ANPC interacts DT improve missional work possible implications doing so last 15 years. In process, three strategies applied. Firstly, a literature review online investigations undertaken articulate engaged past. Secondly, as primary source, quantitative empirical survey was conducted through data collection from 109 leaders assess current development use technology (DTECH) by ANPC.
